Due to our speed,
shallow draft and versatility we are able to offer the following
types of fishing:
Offshore
| Wreck | Reef | Inshore | Bottom
OFFSHORE:
Sailfish, Tuna Wahoo & Mahi
Mahi
Offshore fishing
on a light tackle boat is done with live bait either drifting,
slow trolling or running & gunning. We fish color
changes, rips, under birds or near debris. |
 |
| WRECK:
Cobia, Snapper, Grouper, Amber Jack,
Permit & Barracuda
Either the
Gulf of Mexico or Atlantic Ocean offers many wrecks that
are loaded with fish of all types. Wreck fishing can be
very productive for the beginner to the expert fly fisherman. |
 |
| REEF:
Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish &
Barracuda
Reef fishing
is an exciting adventure it usually produces lots of action
especially while using live bait. Reef fishing is usually
done at anchor fishing the bottom or fishing the surface. |
 |
| INSHORE
FISHING: Tarpon, Permit,
Cobia & Sharks
April though
July come to Key West and battle the famous silver
king tarpon. Experience a thrill of a lifetime as you
reel in a giant tarpon. While tarpon fishing you may very
well hook a permit which is also a very powerful fish
on light tackle. |
 |
| Shark Fishing
is usually done in shallow water while anchored or drifting.
Whether using bait, artificials, or fly sharking can be
a lot of fun and an awesome experience. |
 |
| BOTTOM
FISHING: Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Amberjack & Other Snappers
Bottom Fishing is done in water depths of 100 ft. to 350 ft. of water. We fish hard bottom, ledges, and structures. We use live bait or deep water jigs. Some of the species of fish we produce are Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Red Snapper, and Amber Jacks. |

RATES FOR GUIDES:
My rates are $600 for a half day, $700 for 3/4 day, and $800 for a full day. You might find a few guides may charge, for example, $550 for a half day, $650 for a 3/4 day, and/or $750 for a full day. Here in Key West guides are not hard to find, GOOD ONES are. There are many part-time guides with other jobs as their primary source of income. There are also hired captains who don't own the boat they are running. Basically, they're learning their way around the ocean on your dollar. My guess is that you'd want a guide that fishes FULL TIME and is on the water 4 or 5 days a week during season and knows where the fish are (or works very hard to find them). As I said a guide is not hard to find, GOOD ONES are. The old saying 'you get what you pay for' truly holds here. You'll find my rates are consistent with other top-notch guides in Key West.
